John Plummer has had a lifelong interest in printing of all kinds, first sparked when he made linocuts as a child. After a career in publishing, he rediscovered the joys of printmaking as a mature student on the Foundation course at HCAT (as it then was). Drawing in one form or another has never been far from his attention, and underpins his practice.
