The Fine Print:
Trying to make everything clear as mud. The organizers hold the right to refuse and/or remove an applicant from the exchange and exhibition purely to maintain the integrity and quality of ESPE. It is expected that professional equipment and materials will be used in the process of your edition. Printmakers may use technical assistants such as studio technicians or fellow printmakers to complete their edition as long as ideas are solely their own. Artists are also responsible for framing ONE print for exhibition. All artwork will be handled with due care and respect. ESPE and HAF (Hastings Art Forum) is not responsible for loss or damage to entries. Entry by artist confirms acceptance of these conditions. ESPE and HAF have the right to photograph any accepted work for purposes of publicity.
*** please also note that EDITIONS are required for this showing. Many mediums (monoprint, photopolymers, mixed-media, etc) do not lend themselves very well to this process. Minimal variation is accepted - please ask for clarification if uncertain.
